Choosing a drink while taking in the rows of bottles behind the bar is one of the pleasures of an evening out. In Yushima 3-chome, BAR ROOK offers an extensive whisky selection and classic cocktails in a quiet setting. Its Scotch includes Glenlivet 12 Year Old, with its bright aromas, and smoky Talisker 10 Year Old and Laphroaig. Bourbons such as Maker’s Mark and Wild Turkey 8 Year Old sit alongside easy-to-order options including Dewar’s and Nikka.
Cocktail drinkers can choose from familiar favourites such as a gin and tonic, a sharp Gimlet and a Hendrick’s Martini, as well as fresh seasonal fruit cocktails. A glass of Asahi Jukusen draft beer is a pleasant way to start before moving on to a preferred spirit.
